Privacy Policy

PT Academia has no accounts. The accounts that existed were closed on 21 October 2026, after two weeks' notice on the site, and everything stored with them - name, email address, profile photo, the synced bibliography, History, AI Detector scan records and usage counts - is deleted, together with the database that held it. Every tool works without an account.

Your data is controlled by PT TECHNOLOGIES LLC (registered as ООО "PT TECHNOLOGIES"), a limited liability company registered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, tax identification number 313308723. Registered address: Toshkent shahri, Chilonzor tumani, Katta Navbahor MFY, S mavze — shortened to the neighbourhood because the registered address is a residential one; the full form is on the certificate of registration and is given on request. Content: text and files you put into the tools stay in your browser and are not sent to us. Where a tool looks something up, your browser asks a public service directly: Crossref, Unpaywall, Open Library and Google Books receive the identifier or title you look up (Citation Generator and Paper Finder), and Datamuse receives the word you ask synonyms for (Lexical Diversity).
Your bibliography: the Citation Generator keeps your list of sources in your own browser's storage, on your device. It is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

We use the information described here to provide the tools, answer your messages, and understand how the site is used. We do not sell your personal information.

We do not take payments. The Standard plan, which Paddle billed as merchant of record, was withdrawn on 5 October 2026. We never stored card details; Paddle keeps the records of past payments under its own privacy terms.

We use browser storage to remember your preferences and to keep your Citation Generator list on your device. We also use analytics cookies - see Visitor statistics below. We set no advertising cookies of any kind - see Advertising below.

Messages sent through our contact form go to the contact endpoint on techatpt.com, our company's site, which emails them to us. They are not stored in a database. Your IP address is used only to limit how many messages one connection can send in an hour, and that count is held in memory for about an hour.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and processes data such as your approximate location, device and browser information, and the pages you view, under Google's privacy policy. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we instruct Google not to use analytics cookies or storage unless you consent through the privacy message shown on our free tool pages; without that consent Google receives only non-identifying signals and sets no analytics cookie.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we skip it entirely. (Until 5 October 2026 we also counted page views ourselves, with a daily code that could not follow anyone; that counter was switched off with the server it ran on.)

We do not run advertising. No ad network is loaded on any page of this site, no advertising or ad-measurement cookies are set, and no advertising identifier is created for you. Nothing you paste into a tool has ever been shared with an advertiser.

For a short period in September 2026 the free tool pages carried ads. Those were removed, and with them every script, cookie and identifier they used. If that changes we will say so here before it happens, not after.

We keep a message you send us only as long as we need it to answer you. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

You can ask us what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by contacting us. What the tools keep in your browser is yours to clear at any time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.
